A lovely heirloom piece! Your central diamond's probably a little different in cut or color, then. One of the things I like about antique jewelry is that it's fairly unique...not like the mass produced pieces on sale today.

Ooh, shiny...Thanks for sharing! If I ever get married I'm probably going to make my engagement ring out of an antique aquamarine ring my great-grandmother always wore: we had the same birthday, almost.

Pretty shiny stuff.

No reason an engagement ring has to be a diamond.

In fact....pale blue-ish green....might work for Ice + Guy?

Ooh, you're right, that would work really well. Plus, aquamarine is the birthstone for March...caught between winter and spring, never appreciated, but beautiful as far as months go... I think we may have the beginnings of Guy's proposal!
